“If you do all things with 100 percent focus you are in the state of yoga. It does not matter what you are doing whether you are practicing yoga movements or driving a car or anything. You are in a yoga state.” “The difference between a Yogi and someone who does not practice yoga isContinue reading “State of a yogi”

Flute Playing
Ankit who stays in the room next door is playing his flute while we are taking a break between classes. It fills up the entire floor of the building with the most amazing sound I have heard. Now if I only loved Celine Dion I would be all set. I have had the flute versionContinue reading “Flute Playing”

We sit on the floor cross legged on an old carpet that is a little moldy because most of the year it is humid here. The chanting is notContinue reading “Satsang Evening Prayer”

Ahmedebad, India – Location of Ashram
The tourist guide I have says: Ahmedabad (also spelled Ahmadabad) is the sixth largest city (pop. 6.5 million) in India. It is the commercial hub of the state of Gujarat, though it is not the capital, which is Gandhinagar, 30 km to the north. Although it is not very well known as a ‘tourist’ place,Continue reading “Ahmedebad, India – Location of Ashram”

The Ashram
Here are a couple photos from the Ashram that I found online from yoga camp events that they have been held there. I will be attending a 20 day 240 hour Yoga Teacher Training, which according to previous years should have a smaller class size of around 30 participants.
