Temple of Lakshmi

This Temple is directly above the field where we do yoga each evening. It is the largest of the three temples located at the Ashram. It is really beautiful and peaceful being inside. While we are doing yoga you can hear the chanting and prayers gently coming from the Temple. People come all day long to pray to Lakshmi. Each one of the statues are different aspects of Lakshmi.

Lakshmi (Sanskrit: लक्ष्मी lakṣmī, Hindi pronunciation: [ˈləkʃmi]) is the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity (both material and spiritual), fortune, and the embodiment of beauty. She is the consort of the god Vishnu. Also called Mahalakshmi, she is said to bring good luck and is believed to protect her devotees from all kinds of misery and money related problems.

p.s. Let me know if you wish me to pray to Lakshmi for you for any reason.
